STATE OF HARMONY, GLEN IRIS, WINTER 2026
Winter Reset: eight weeks to rest, restore, and come back to yourself
Winter is an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and do the quiet work that carries you through the rest of the year. This is your permission to rest, and the community to rest alongside.
The winter rut is real, but so is your way out of it.
Most of us feel it. The days get shorter, the mornings get harder, and somewhere around June you stop doing the things that make you feel like yourself. Movement drops off and sleep gets heavier but less restorative. The mental load feels bigger and motivation quietly disappears.
This isn’t a personal failing. It’s a seasonal pattern, and it’s incredibly common. What we see time and again at State of Harmony is a sense of calm amongst those who choose to show up, gently and consistently, even when it was the last thing they felt like doing.
Winter Reset was created for exactly this. A structured but gentle eight-week invitation to show up for yourself, alongside others who are doing the same. It’s a warm community and a commitment to your own wellbeing through the season that needs it most.
What is Winter Reset?
Running from 13 July to 6 September 2025, the State of Harmony Winter Reset is an eight-week opportunity to build a consistent practice of rest and movement through the cooler months. Not as a challenge, but as a compassionate commitment to yourself and your wellbeing. Through weekly classes and two special community events, you will build a rhythm that genuinely nourishes you, held by the warmth of the State of Harmony community in Glen Iris.
What we’ll explore together
Each week is rooted in one of four themes that guide the season.
Deep rest and
body relaxation
Learning to genuinely let go and restore at a cellular level.
Nervous system
support
Practical tools for calming, regulating, and rebuilding resilience.
Nurturing with
compassion
Practising genuine self-care without guilt or conditions.
Gentle strength and
warmth from within
Building steady, sustainable energy to carry you into spring.
How it works
There is no extra cost and no pressure to be perfect. Just an intention to show up for yourself, week by week, through winter.
Attend one class per week for eight weeks. Choose from our Meditation or Pilates schedule, whatever feels right for you that week.
Join two Winter Reset events held across the season. These are special, intimate gatherings, Sacred Sundays and Return to Harmony, designed to go a little deeper.
Track your participation with us. We create the space, and all you need to do is show up for yourself.
COMPLETE THE RESET AND RECEIVE
A complimentary place at Return to Harmony
or Sacred Sunday in September
Complete your eight weeks and attend two Winter Reset events, and we would love to welcome you to either Return to Harmony or Sacred Sunday in September as our guest.
You can choose the event that feels most supportive for you. It’s a beautiful way to close out the season, honour your commitment, and continue the benefits of your reset as you move into spring.
Why winter is the perfect time for this
It can feel counterintuitive to prioritise a movement and meditation practice when all you want to do is stay home in your warmest socks. But winter is actually one of the most powerful seasons for this kind of inner work.
When the noise of summer quietens and the pace slows, there is space to actually hear yourself. The practices we offer in Winter Reset are gentle by design, made for the season we are in.
And there is something genuinely special about building consistency during the months it feels hardest. Come September, you will notice the difference.
Classes and events
Weekly classes run across our regular Meditation and Pilates timetable. Choose the sessions that work for you each week.

Meet Sithara
Sithara Sajeev
Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates trainer and Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher
Sithara’s path into wellness has been both professional and deeply personal. With a background in physiotherapy and over 20 years of experience, she has spent her career helping people feel more connected, confident, and at home in their bodies.
Growing up in a Buddhist family, meditation was always part of Sithara’s life. But it was during a period of personal struggle in her early 30s that she truly experienced its power. Meditation didn’t remove life’s challenges, but it helped her meet them with greater awareness, compassion, and steadiness.
That inner journey became the foundation for State of Harmony, a space where people could reconnect with themselves, their bodies, and their sense of calm. At State of Harmony, Sithara brings together mindful movement, Pilates, meditation, breath awareness, and sound, grounded in the belief that healing and growth unfold most naturally when we are met with compassion and care.
